An evening wining and dining at
All Bar One
It’s been a long time since I’ve done a blog post, University and work has taken over my life at the moment but I’M BACK!
At the weekend I visited the all new revamped All Bar One in Norwich to have to dinner , and a few drinks. Our table was booked for 6.00pm I was running late so I ended up arriving around 5/10 past. When we arrived we got shown to our seats. We then sat down and got shown where the menus are so we spend about 5 minutes looking through the menus and then ordered our first round of drinks. Nathan had a peroni and I decided to have a mango Bellini. I felt really sophisticated when the drinks arrived (it’s a good job I dressed up for the occasion). There were lots of being in suits and dresses and some people in just casual clothes so you could wear whatever would make you feel comfortable. You also don’t have to have a meal if you don’t want too there is a space specifically just for drinks near the bar area.
Anyway, after we had been given our drinks the lovely waitress ask us if we were ready to order and we definitely were. For starters we decided to go for a stonebaked garlic bread, pan fried king prawns and lamb kibbeh. All the appertisers were 3 for £15 so that was an option not to miss. The garlic bread was gorgeous (it was the size of a full pizza) so bear that in mind if you are going for a 3 course meal and the prawns were smothered in a chilli and paprika sauce which gave your pallet abit of a tingle.
The starter got eaten very quickly and it was time to have another drink before the mains arrived. I just ordered a lemonade this time time round and Nathan of course had another peroni.
For mains I ordered steak frites and Nathan ordered fish and chips. I was really excited for this course as steak is one of my favourite’s and I was excited to see how it different from other places… all I can say is WOW!
